  • High personal integrity and reliability.
  • Successful at juggling multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Quick learner.
  • Must have a smartphone phone or data tablet, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check and drug test.

 

HappyFeet Coaching Coordinator

This position has the potential to change and evolve as you become more experienced with the philosophy of HappyFeet and the Legends Soccer Club, but initially the Coaching Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Mastering philosophy & curriculum
  • Coaching classes at select area schools
  • Overseeing the program and its growth at the schools in which you teach
  • Communicating between school directors and the HappyFeet Director
  • Communicating with parents through our mobile application
  • Assisting in development, implementation, and operations of weekend programs


The ideal candidate should have or be able to accomplish the following:

  • Amazing with young children (patience and energetic with young children)
  • Background in soccer (playing or coaching) is helpful, but not required
  • High personal integrity and reliability
  • Highly organized and punctual
  • Successful at juggling multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Quick learner
  • Must have a smartphone phone or data tablet, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a DHS background check.

 

HappyFeet Class/League Coach

HappyFeet is also looking for coaches for our ever increasing evening and weekend programs. Have a blast coaching kids ages 2-6 in their first soccer league experience as parents cheer on the sidelines! Some soccer knowledge necessary, but we can teach you what we've learned along the way - most importantly, coaches must have the ability to boost kids' confidence and instill a "go for it" mentality with patience.

Specifics & Responsibilities:

  • 3-6 hours each league/camp.
  • Review lesson plan and curriculum before session.
  • Arrive 15 minutes early to set up area.
  • Relay necessary information between parents and director when necessary via email.
  • Lead a group of children ages 2-6 for 30-45 minutes. (According to one age group at a time.)

Candidates must:

  • Be encouraging and upbeat.
  • Be hands-on at every moment.
  • Be patient!
  • Be able to pass a DHS Background Study & finger print screening.
